  2. Bo Rashed... you are very right. But if I want to compile a list of everyone who broke the law regarding املاك واموال الدولة it would take forever

But how much are these amounts? And are they accumulating to this day?

I mean it is time for us to have more responsibilities. Wallah lo ana min al7okoma ag6a3 alkahraba 3an alnass ilee ma yedfe3on! This is the only way for most people to learn how to save on energy!

  4. according to what i heard before , they aren't few , and they are upto 10,000,000 and going up , one guy at dewaniya said he had upto 13,000 that he didn't pay since 1989 bill and still hope that they just strike it out

my father paid 1500 for 1990,91 bill and still pay , another guy at the dewaniya had a bill of 5,000 kd and he payed it in installments .
i think it is unfair that people aren't paying for it

i think the govermnet should just deduct the money that you need to pay for the bill from the 200 kd that they are getting , and from the wages that they are getting ( now that the govermnet pay almost everyone wages , even in privete sector ) saddly there are no minster who would do it , and the current one is going to strike it out ( i was told he is working on it to score some popilarity as always )

  5. This is my first post on this blog ( great blog by the way)

When was the last time anyone paid for this country?? hmm. "Al Soor il Rabi3" People forget to pay and with a law system thats not strictly enforced, people just wont pay.

I believe the amounts are huge (like over $1 billion).

This has been accumulating over years, and the person who forces the Kuwaitis to pay will surely be hated for decades. Thus, I think this decision should come from our parliament. These guys however, will never do that because they don't want to lose their seats.

If this happened in the US, a collection agency would buy off the debt from the Government squeeze the money out the people and charge high interest for any delays. I think the government should start a collection agency, hire some fresh graduates and get them calling. Due to interest / delays, they will probably end up collecting more than the amount needed. Excess funds will be used to start a new company and hire more people (help solve a small part of unemployment). In theory I think it could work, but I have my doubts!!

  9. zaydoun,

    - They want money from the oil price increase, they got 200KD!
    - They wanted to decrease the age for retirement, they did that!
    - They increased the number of kids allowed for a stipend, they did that too!
    - Now they want electricty bills to be dropped, so people should use more electricity quickly now since they're not gonna pay!! Plus, what happens to the people who already paid? Will the government pay them back??
    - And dont forget, they still want ma3ashaat to increase!!

So, basically the country should spoil us rotten giving us money all the time, and even give us personal massages and showers and maybe bring in people to carry us while gezzing instead of walking and ruining our muscles which the government should pay us back for! We're tooooooo spoiled, and when the gov't wants us to pay back something that we should legal do anyway, we complain and make a big fuss!

Borashid, 3ala 6aary Ali AlKhaleefa, let me give u a classic example of throwing the blame somewhere else!! My father teaches in KU, they caught someone cheating once, so my father was asked to sit and talk with him. My dad gave the usual talk "if u spent the time studying instead of barasheem u wouldve done better...etc", what was the kid's response?? "laaish imsaweeen saalfa? Al7eeen Ali AlKhaleefa stealing millions o noone said anything, o ana 3ala ghash imti7aan u want to punish me?"

LOOOOOOL!! shakoooo?? shyaaaab?? So since there is one big 7araamy on top, we ALL have the right to be 7araamiya?!

    right, Pink?)

Anyway nychick.. loved your comments.. keep them coming
