Al-Sharq Al-Awsat has an amazing editorial slamming the Arab media coverage of this war and calling it worse than the coverage of the 6-day war in 1967, in which it was falsely reported that tens of Israeli war planes were destroyed. He takes the Arab media to task for ignoring the Iraqi opposition and for acting, in effect, as Saddam's mouthpiece and a willing combatant in his own "psy-ops" propaganda war against the world.
