Tiny Arabic Comment Fonts
Calling all geeks! The Arabic font in the comments is so damn small, we're going blind reading it. I've tried everything with the template and nothing seems to work.

hahahaha i agree! just think of it as helping Kuwait get ready to become a full blown memeber of the international community :P
Yes, PLEASE no more arabic. I totally agree with D&G. But to prove I can accept defeat gracefully, I'll tell you guys that if you go to the View tab in the Explorer tool bar and then scroll down to Text Size and click on Largest, it helps.
واصل كتاباتك بالعربى يا أبو حفص فحتى شكسبير لن يستطيع ترجمة تعليقاتك إلى اللغة العنجليزية و يحافظ على قوتها و صراحتها
If you cant read Arabic you shouldn't complain about that in a Kuwaiti BLOG...what will non Kuwaitis say now...that young Kuwaitis have forgotten their Arabic completely? ... last time I checked Arabic was still the official language here and until the Council of Ministers decides to change that...none of you should complain...try to open an Arabic book once in a while or read an Arabic paper or a magazine other than Layaleena...and Ramadan is coming...read a chapter or two from the Holy Quran - in its original form....
And remember NOT EVERYONE was fortunate enough to go to a foreign language school here or abroad, and not everyone spent all or part of his childhood in the UK or the States
PSS: therein lies the beauty of being a chicken nugget: a large and grosse contradiction of preset values, while at the same time being the epitome of such values. its a beautiful paradox.
The thing is, your English writing is far better than your Arabic writing. At first I was hoping to see a bilingual blog, but now please stick to English only.
Mad Man, nobody is complaining about not being able to read Arabic. They're complaining about the Arabic font size being too small. There's a difference :)
As for you, are you writing in your blog for kuwaitys and non-kuwaitys living in kuwait or is it just for the non-kuwaitys? I can guarantee it that if you actually asked a non-kuwaity, they'd tell you that they DO'NT CARE that we use english fonts instead of arabic.
I think it's more important for people to actually be able to read your blog then for them to just squint and curse in frustration at their inability to read the retarded font (yes people, even though I've enlarged it, the font still looks retarded).
Rest assured Mad Man, the council of ministers won't be switching to english anytime soon haha
Dear Zaydoun: I just had this brilliant idea; why don't we ask the wizies of the blog to invent a recording /translating tool, so that with one click of an icon we can record our thoughts and comments, and with another click we can listen to others in a pre chosen language.
Abu Hafs, I don't want to change the template yet.
Gigi, thanks but then the rest of the blog looks weird.
The rest of you, I'm only talking about the font on the COMMENTS.
Ba3dain, what's with this "No Arabic" business? We've had this discussion before and I will post in Arabic when I can. It's not a language issue for me; English is just easier and faster for me to TYPE.
It wasn't really a hassle, but the majority of voters said I should post bilingual as much as possible. So I'm trying my best.
There are a lot of people online whose English isn't that strong and would really like to join the discussions. It's just a way to get more people to join so this doesn't become like an exclusive club.
Many people comment in Arabic which is great, IF I COULD ONLY GET THE FUCKING COMMENT FONTS TO APPEAR LARGER!!!
Here's a thought, stop posting in arabic. No need to thank me :)

Thanx Gigi for the tip, it saved my eyes from going blind trying to read Aba Hafs's comments.

Thank you MADM2000 for ignoring my whole post and just focusing on the fact that I called you a mad man, you've proveb my point :)
ReplyDeleteZaydoun - I wasn't here when you had people vote and stuff. How about a recount, unless it's too much of a hassle.
