Ring Tones
Someone here at the office (better be a visitor!) has Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" (theme from "Titanic") as their mobile ringtone. I'm talking full-blast Celine vocals here, not the usual electronic ringtone version.
In my department we use to have 2 collogues but now 1that they have the ring tone of عايشـة المـرطة (يا عيني يا لي) we have to listen to it ringing every working minute. I use to love that song but now I cant listen to it especially this guy his phone is constantly ringing loud which make sick off it
Question: Does Celine Dion still claim bona fide fans? The Las Vegas drunks she entertains do not count! IMHO, now she?s famous simply for being famous!
So Zaydoun, how about a poll for the most popular theme for mobiles? Most of the time I keep my phone on silent/vibrator mode; but when its on its usually set to the main theme from ?The Good, the Bad and the Ugly?!
PS: Calling Mr. Abu 7afs: you know those religious types who maintain that music is ?7aram?, and they choose to set their mobiles to themes from religious shows and series (eg; ?Al-Sha3rawi?!) as if that?s not music! Anyhow, what is an appropriate punishment for such types ?
Celine Dion, that is harsh! H is right though, the Crazy Frog here in the UK is worse, and now they're advertising some singing chicken... I don't actually own a mobile. That may be why. Best ringtone I ever heard was Daft Punk's Da Funk, sounded great!
Zaydoun, check out this cartoon:

Anti_Reason... PRICELESS!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it was a visitor, because the noise is gone now, but the kit came in handy earlier!
ReplyDeleteThey had real baseball bats at Sultan Center the other day
throw her and her mbl from the roof ..(visitors will show up again)
ReplyDeleteBu Zee:
ReplyDeleteuse the same tone of the fourth amendment and ask her to change the ring tone

Isn't it funny how many of you assumed the guilty mobile owner was a woman! There are many men who like Celine... Just keep them away from me!!
ReplyDelete?Men who actually like Celine Dion, next on Geraldo!?
ReplyDeleteI don?t know, but hen I think of a male fan of Celine, I remember "Will & Grace"!
(Joke, guys, just joking! :-)
Now anti_reason.. lets not get into sexuality here. Its just an issue of bad taste.
ReplyDeleteCeline sucks period. She has more females fans because, face it, many females go for that sentimental saccharine crap. Keep them away from me too!
Zaydoun, you know the kind of women I truly avoid? Fans of Tori Amos who think of her as a great philosopher!
ReplyDeleteEeeew! Get a life, already!!!
God Have mercy on your soul, now that is what I call torture of the 9th degree.
ReplyDeletealso, not sure if am the only one who notices this, but your comment section loads slow, even when blogger is operating at "normal" speed.
