The Blue Revolution?

(thanks to Jambino for that title)

Well it was quite an event. Maybe I'm just not used to these things but I thought the turnout was alright. Not excellent, just alright... I wish more people had shown up, but never mind. At least the media were there and hopefully this will make enough noise..
  • I was pleased to see the MPs Mohamed Al-Sager and Ali Al-Rashed addressing the crowds in support of women's right to vote.
  • Khaled Al-Sultan and his supporters were nowhere to be seen.
  • Ran into a few bloggers there, and I expected to see a few more who didn't show up. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
  • I wanted to meet some other bloggers, but I couldn't recognize any :-(
  • I went into the parliement building and into the auditorium. Some asshole MP was being very loud and rude. I had to leave early to get back to work.
  • I wore blue.

Let's pray it works this time!

    :)

  8. I took my sister with me, was there at 8, and saw some friendly faces and had a good time. The crowd was OK, considering the time of day. It was wonderful to see the little old ladies there supporting the cause. What fun! and when the crowd became a mob and crossed the street chanting "7aq ilmar'ah al'aan" .. that was frikkin awesome!

Today I was proud to be a Kuwaiti.

I think I saw you Zaydoun, but I'm not sure 'cause I don't know what you look like :)

That was you! I even wrote about you in my post describing you as a guy with long curly hair ;)

I heard the same thing about some school girls being led by a teacher meaning to sabotage the session. But nevermind; people will know better next time
