playa... Lebanon is actually very creative, and travel writers from the best international magazines are finally noticing. I met a writer there last week and she was amazed.
But forget the scenery, the nature, the people, the nightlife, the food and even the political instability.. they have one thing we'll never have: Lebanese are free to live and create as they please. Any contraints they face are either financial or social. There are no LAWS banning their creativity. They are FREE to create and because of that, even the simplest form of leisure takes on a whole new meaning that is very hard to explain with actually experiencing it.
And because many Kuwaitis take all their bad habits and customs with them when they travel, they don't even realize or appreciate this creativity when they're there!

Everyday we are exposed to crappy cheep imitation coolness that radiates from Lebanon, do we need to be closer to that?
