Playlist - December 8 - 14

December is usually the month when the supply of good new music starts to dry up, but I still managed to find some fun stuff:

1. The Strokes - Juicebox: New York's favorite sons are back.
2. Foo Fighters - Resolve: Another great one from the reliably consistent Fighters. They just keep getting better.
3. Jamiroquai - Don't Give Hate a Chance (Freemasons remix): A "throw your arms in the air" disco throwback. Great fun!
4. Blondie vs. The Doors - Rapture Riders: A great mash-up of 2 classics, Blondie's "Rapture" and The Doors' "Riders on the Storm". I couldn't find a preview so see if you can find it on any illegal download sites. You did NOT read this here!
5. Calla - It Dawned On Me: Ominous yet beautiful.

This week's classic is the 90's anthem that spawned a thousand Coldplays, Embrace, etc.. Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees. Still as powerful today as ever.

And I just remembered that today is the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's murder. So I will also add my favorite Beatles track You've Got to Hide Your Love Away.
