Congratulations are in order for Salam Pax, also known as the Baghdad Blogger who just signed a film deal based on his online diary. "He's like a Nick Hornby in the middle of a war," Scott Kroopf, chairman of the Intermedia's film division, told film industry website ScreenDaily.com.
As a huge Nick Hornby fan myself, I can say that this is indeed a great compliment, and the movie itself could be quite entertaining.
