A couple of days ago i watched another movie worth mentioning in your fun zaydounian blog. It's called City of God and takes place in the ghettos of Rio De Janeiro. I liked it a lot and I'm sure many would agree. It's a mix of MTV camera style and Scorsese's. So, for those of you who haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend.

I have City of God on DVD, but I still haven't seen it. I think it needs a certain mood, but with my new fascination with all things Brazilian (see music playlist), I think it's time to sit down and watch it.. maybe tonight, since I've declared Saturday night as movie night
