- Vertigo - U2: My favorite band EVER is back with a vengeance with this killer track from their new album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb".
- Mind, Body & Soul - Joss Stone: Following her amazing debut album of soul covers, this is the highly anticipated album of original material from the 17-year old girl from Devon, England with a voice like a bruised and battered middle-aged soul sister!
- Get Your Hands Off My Woman - Ben Folds: A piano driven cover of The Darkness's over-the-top hit from last year. Great fun!
- Perfect - Thirteen Senses: Close your eyes and let this beautiful song take you away...
- The Best of Blondie: Inspired by Mosan's Thursday morning, I had to give this one a spin and listen to all the great tracks in their original format. The songs are so perfect that a remix would be equal to RAPE. Atomic, Hangin' On The Telephone, Heart of Glass, One Way or Another, Union City Blues..etc. Timeless classics!

See, if they cover "get your hands", that means its good enough and that the band is good too.
ReplyDeleteno Nirvana zaydoun? The Darkness kicks hieni!
ReplyDeleteThat was the only Darkness song that I instantly liked, especially with the accompanying video. It was so over the top, I thought it was a parody of a heavy metal band. The joke wore thin afterwards.
ReplyDeleteMishu, I like Nirvana... just not on this week's playlist is all
