So far, I love the MTC-Vodafone ad. It's great fun! Wataniya's isn't bad either.
NBK's new ad for Watani Online is so obviously a low-budget version of their previous بنكي الوطني campaign, and we all know how they worship at the altar of the cost-cutting gods!
The most disturbing is the one which compares picking a bride with selecting a مطّارة شاي. I really don't know what to make of that..

ReplyDeleteI don't know if u share this with me or is it only me, MTC ad's really have a point in them but Wataneiya ones miss the connection between the ad & the service they are advertising for. For example the one for guys fishing then it says express your self !! what is the link ? by cheating & making him self look like a good fisherman is how he expresses him self? shouldnt it be about X-Press'ing your self MTHLN having some one customize somethings to his/her mood !! then the X-press card comes in like & not cheating to win :}.

Yeah, I didn't know wut to make of it at 1st but then It made me laugh, I give them 8/10 for creativity and 7/10 for execution.

well anyways back to ads, I see an improvement in quality of productions, hope next year more time will be spent on the 'idea'
