  1. Friends,
In all seriousness what do you think would happen if one of us removed one of these signs, like the Islamic haircut or the Kindergarden inititiation sign or better yet all those white wooden signs with religious slogans that line the highway?

  4. hwhk i don't see any problem with the small plates on the highway that say " سبحان الله " and smilar stuff , but there should be a line drwan , why does some ( and i do mean some if you know how to seprate islamist not paint all with 1 brush ) think that islam is to scare , to intidate , when you talk about hell , don't over use it , yeah it may lead 1 or 2 people to what you think is straight forward way to heaven , but you just made 200 others move away from you , when you say " those who do not pray would go to hell " you notice that the people who are listing to you are with you in the masjed to pray with you ? do you think a guy who ISN'T at masjid would listin to what you said ? well if he didn't come to friday prayer he either is sleeping or have the sterio on high voulme , either way he isn't listing to you , why do you want to scare the ones that listin to you ?

i used to have a friend in college ( notice used to ) one day i told him " its damn hot " and he told me " Hell fire is hotter " well screw you dude , see you never

They want to catch the attention of the "honey and spice, and everything nice", so that they change them into penguins.

  7. Those highway signs are also a distraction to drivers, and they are UNLICENSED

  9. Forzaq8,

I agree with you on the fact that it is ineffective and quite frankly pretty stupid to scare people into sharing your beliefs. With this in mind I can't help but interpret everything these Islamists say, write or do as a vehicle for furthering their political and economic agendas. Call it confirmatory bias, but when I spot "سبحان الله" on the road or any other one of their seemingly innocent signs I can not help but see it as further evidence of their underlying agenda. How can you support ANYTHING they do when you know their true creed; to turn us into a talibanesque state with them at the helms.

Granted, there is virtue in praising God and being thankful, however when taking into account WHO put a sign on the highway and WHY, some (myself included) would argue that it is better that the sign not be there at all. The sign only serves to remind others of their domineering presence and power in this country.

At the end of the day we are a Moslem country many if not most of our values stem from Islam. Islamists and liberals alike have to share this country whether we like it or not, and in our open-minded spirit, us liberals accept some of these Islamists' actions because they fall into seemingly harmless gray areas (ex. "سبحان الله", educating the youth about Islam in schools) that they may in fact coincide with our own beliefs. Many of us are moderate and do not mind these moves on their part. However, in accepting these actions we give them credibility and political capital upon which they can build a launchpad for their dark vision. Fuck them.

  10. For this stupid American's sake, what does the sign say? I can guess from the comment and context, but I'm curious.

  12. Trust me you're better off not knowing... but if you insist (twist my arm!), it claims to quote the Prophet Muhammad (P) as saying something to the effect of "Whatever I have seen, the grave is far worse".. It seems like a harmless statement, and it very well could be.. but what purpose does it serve on the walls of a kindergarten in Sabahiya? And what's with the weird fonts? Is this what passes for creativity in these circles?

  13. Thanks. The bones are pretty creepy. Not the sort of thing that builds healthy adults out of kindergarteners (my mother is a teacher). I wonder what these people think they are accomplishing here.

is this the only way to remind people of their forgotten religion by hurror on kids schools!! did it stopped the parents from cheating on each other? did it remind people to hold tight to their religion? did it helped in being a good muslim and not to kill souls? did it helped in following the prophet (p) when he said like for your brother what you like for your self!!
did it stop any bad manners in that area where this s@#$ is hanged/.?

if anybody knows any answer for these plz nawrony
