  1. Ay good mood Allah yhadach? Come see the awful weather we're having this weekend and see the idiots who are running this country into the ground!

Can we file for Chapter 11 with the World Bank?!

  6. So, Sharar ? and I agree his blood is "athgal min es_Samn 3ala el_bedingan el_iswid", 3ala rai 3adel Imam ? thinks he is having an intelligent and witty conversation with members of the press. But what I?d like to know is: an extra 50 KD a month is supposed to make people dance in the streets or something! Is this really an issue fit for national discussion? I don?t know about the average Kuwaiti citizen, but does such an amount work as a sedative for the public?s mentality and sense of priorities in life? Whats with suffrage for women, human rights, national and internal security, corruptions, ? etc.

That amount is what, maybe 130 Euros? In Austria, where the minimum wage is roughly 10 Euros an hour, it is the equivalent of 13 hours of pay for those who work at McDonalds! In Kuwait, those poor people who earn 1 KD a day ? if even that - might welcome such an amount, but they are not the ones who?ll get this generous raise. Would an average Kuwaiti forget about the voluminous issues troubling our country, for the sake of 50 KD?

I hope I?m wrong, but if that is the case then our country is truly heading for oblivion!

  8. anti-reason, i wish you're wrong too, but unfortunately that does seem to be the case. 50 kd so women, denied an identity as decision makers in this country, can release their frustration, and practice some tough decision making by having an extra 50 to spend on shopping (following of course, the advice posted in shurouq's post)

zaydoun, ghbar in kuwait, rain here, what happened to breezy clear sunny days?
