Tate Modern


Saw this at the Tate Modern as part of a display.... not sure what to make of it.

    And he might have included his photo too....in an orange shirt behind the soldier

I think those are boots..empty boots are a symbol of soldiers dead at war...the book on the gulf shows the towers, ironic positioning of a book that shows what kuwait is proud of, or what tourists look at next to images of soldiers and symbols of death..is that the highway of death too? Are the shoe boxes coffins? Is the word environment written on a shoe box? what's the other book? What do the words all over the place say? What is that white thing in the right and top? Who is the artist Zaydoun?
    Hope you are soaking up lots of London...
