  5. I'm not "hinting" at anything... my message is loud and clear.

After years of blatantly violating the constitution, suddenly it's the "reference du jour"!!

  11. Jack the pacifist took over.
Jack the naughty, Samuel & Nathan were looking for being second.

Nathan stood by Samuel, putting Jack the naughty out of competition.

Samuel thought that Nathan will be by his side forever. Two decades later things changed, Jack the naughty is no longer 'kicking', Nathan became 'the guy', putting -again- someone out of competition, this time it's his ex-ally, Samuel.

Jack the pacifist bids everyone a last farewell. Douglas tries to strengthen Samuel's chances, but Nathan strikes -for the third time- and knocks out Douglas... but not forever. Douglas is still kicking.

  13. I agree with what Judy said. I haven't seen any young faces, though. I don't even know if they exist. It's always the big people that speak and appear on TV and make decisions. It must be a big risk, though, for us to be led by a young leader who might not be as experienced as the older ones. But then again, blame it on the older ones for not giving them the chance.

    What do you think, Zaydoun..?

  14. scarlo.. The elders are certainly to blame for not grooming the younger generation for leadership, and also to blame for discouraging them from having their own voice.

But who knows? There could be some hidden gems in there who just need to be uncovered.

  15. Let the bickering begin:

KUWAIT CITY (AFP) - Kuwait's ailing new emir, Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah, will take the oath of office before parliament, a leading member of the ruling family said in a statement.

"Emir Sheikh Saad will take the constitutional oath before parliament. He has sent a letter to the parliament speaker asking him to hold a session," said Sheikh Salem al-Ali al-Sabah, head of the National Guards.

The authenticity of the statement could not be verified.

The statement was issued following a meeting Friday morning in which another senior family member said the family had selected Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah to replace Sheikh Saad because of his poor health.
