Playlist March 2 - 9

A bit of comedy with the music this week...
  1. Ricky Gervais Podcasts: Former Office star's record breaking podcasts (most downloaded). Twelve 30 minute episodes of pure hysterical nonsense.
  2. The Darkness - Is It Just Me?: Former comedy rock act cuts back on the theatric excesses with this strutting little number plus suitably ridiculous lyrics. "I'm in the Taj Mahal, and you're outside Big Ben". Perfect!
  3. a-Ha - Analogue: Former 80's pop sensations are back with a brooding piano-driven number
  4. Slow Runner - Break Your Mama's Back: Basically a handbook of instructions on how to piss off your parents.
  5. Michael Buble - Home: Way too sentimental but somehow it works. A song about being on the road and missing your loved ones, and... home.
  6. Goldfrapp - Ride A White Horse: More disco glam rock from the sexy Alison Goldfrapp.

This week I have a Southern rock classic ballad from the 70's, The Allman Brothers' Melissa.

  1. Took me a while to read that banker story in your last post, between then and now, a new post is published.

Michel Buble's amazing. Can't comment on the rest, something tells me that by the time I check on those you'd write yet a newer post:)

  3. No offence taken... In fact I'll put him on now and go to sleep. But you have to hear his version of the old Spiderman theme. It's great fun!
