Playlist May 4 - 10

Some pop and dance selections this week, plus a politically charged classic pick..

  1. Mish Mash - Speechless: Funky retro dance hit. Sounds like it's been around forever.
  2. Guillemots - We're Here: The word "cinematic" perfectly describes this song. It has a wide-screen feel that belongs in an old fashioned movie soundtrack and will not sound as good on your PC speakers.
  3. Perasma - Swing 2 Harmony: When I first heard this I thought it was a club mix of some obscure Enya song. A stomping beat with dreamy vocals.
  4. The Perishers - Let There Be Morning: One of those beautifully crafted albums that you just want to keep to yourself. And again they're Scandinavian. Get the whole thing!
  5. CagedBaby - Hello There: I hope we don't end up in cages tomorrow!

And to mark tomorrow's rally at 6 pm in support of reducing the electrorate districts down to FIVE, this week's classic rock pick is Patti Smiths' rousing anthem "People Have The Power"

  2. poiwer... of course ONE district would be even better, but we're being more realistic in our demands. FIVE is actually doable now, unless the forces of evil get their way

Keep it clean, people!
