iPod Nation

Newsweek's cover story is all about the iPod, and how it has changed the way we listen to music.

Does this mean it's no longer "cool"? ;-P

  4. First of all, WHAT IS AN IPOD? You've mentioned it lately and a friend says she has one, but what does it look like? Does it play MP3 or is it a radio? And why does it have to be cool?

  5. It is not over-rated at all. Read the Newsweek article for a better idea. I don't know how much it costs here, but it's available at Virgin Megastore - a sensible place to buy it, despite what Mark said earlier - because the Apple dealers in Kuwait are a bunch of losers!

  7. actually with the new ipods coming out tomororw this is the price:

    STATES
    4th generation 40gb ipod = $399
    4th generation 20gb ipod = $299

    KUWAIT
    3rd generation 40gb ipod = KD186
    3rd generation 30gb ipod = KD130 i think

as you with the new prices coming out tomorrow there will be over 200$ difference between price at virgin kuwait and price of amazon.com/other US dealers
