Rich or Handsome? Or Both?

Get a load of this....
"Researchers at the nation's central bank have confirmed what you always suspected: If you want to make more money, it helps to be tall, slender and good-looking.

A study just published by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis examines research done by economists over the past decade and concludes that good looks, above-average height and normal-range weight actually might boost productivity at the office, perhaps by increasing confidence and improving communication skills."

How about a fun game for the weekend? Make a list of Kuwait's millionaires (men and women) and rank them on "Who's Hot and Who's Not"

Enjoy!

  1. How come your time settings are not correct? this post shows 6.24 am and just showed on your blog.

Ok back to the post, why would anyone spend money on such a study? this study has been done before and the results are well known. I guess the folks in FR bank have too much money to spend. One of those studies where they want to "allocate" funds for important research. I hate money spent unwisely!

  3. So plastic surgery is the first step to riches...

Depressing really. I understand the whole argument over how it boosts one's image of self and with high self-esteem comes more productivity. But isn't it still terrible that this adds to young people's burden. Not only will there be expressions of I'm not smart enough to get a degree, but now added to that there will be I'm not pretty enough to succeed in business :/

Marge Piercy's Barbie Doll comes to mind: "She was healthy, tested intelligent ... Everyone saw a fat nose on thick legs."

p.s. I am personally guilty of enjoying movies with beautiful people more than those with 'less beautiful' ones.

Shurouq this might come to the rescue of your beloved blonds. Dumb blond jokes may have to be rethought.

  11. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal (dunno how to say this in English so I'll say it in arabic-english, he's so hawwwt especially laman yitna6ag bil kalaam)is both gorgeous and rich. Okay, so he's not Kuwaity and he's kinda' old but in all fairness ... most Kuwaity millionares and their offspring aren't that good-looking. Illa 3ad wayn o wayn tilga. I think it goes something like this "ill kamaal lallah". Fun game, we're just bad players :P

  14. LOL

ZAYDOUN, MAKU MEN MILLIONAIRE HOTTIES (IF THERE ARE, THEY HAVENT WORKED FOR THEIR MONEY, & THEY DON'T COUNT)! Mohammed Al-Shayaa is smart, but not hot. Tarek al-Eissa tall & smart, but not not. Al-Kharafi's.. gentlemen, but not hot.

Women millionaires are all hotties though, starting from Suad al-Homaizi. I also think Maha al-Ghnaim is a hottie. Who else... can't think of more (ga3da a7atee BAYANINV!).
